Unexpected Showdown: A Ducks Fan Takes a Floor Dive After a Knockout Blow from a Jets Fan in Anaheim

Both fans got at it after pulling away from the group fight

It’s unclear if the fight took place during or after the game at Honda Center, but fans of both teams got into it right in the middle of a concourse to the entertainment of others.

Footage from the brawl shows a fan in a Jacob Trouba Jets jersey pulling away from the scrum and clashing with a guy in a purple Ducks jersey.

During their separate matchup, the Winnipeg fan knocked the Anaheim supporter to the tile floor using a leg takedown move, leaving the man motionless.

The guy didn’t move for a while but eventually rolled over in what seemed to be a lot of pain.

The Ducks supporter remained motionless on the floor for a couple of minutes before regaining consciousness
Moments earlier, a fight publicly broke out between a set of Jets supporters and Ducks fans

The Anaheim Police Department later toldTMZ Sportsthat officers were called to the scene after the fight broke out and that one person had to be taken to hospital with a head injury.

‘The investigation is ongoing,’ a spokesperson for the department further told the outlet after the Jets’ 3-1 win. ‘And no arrests have been made.’

Police will be monitoring any related videos ‘circulating on social media as a part of our investigation.’

The Ducks next take on the Nashville Predators on Tuesday. Anaheim lost to the Detroit Red Wings, 3-2, on Sunday.

The Jets face the Columbus Blue Jackets in their next matchup, also on Tuesday.

Winnipeg defeated the Arizona Coyotes, 6-2, on Monday.

The Jets (26-9) are in red hot form to start the season, ranking first in the Western Conference’s Central Division. On the other hand, the Ducks (13-25) are only above the San Jose Sharks in the conference’s Pacific Division.
