Josh Allen Secures Record-Breaking $330M Deal—Bills Superstar & Reigning MVP Makes NFL History!

Reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen has agreed to a monster new six-year, $330million contract with the Buffalo Bills.

In the biggest offseason news so far, Allen earn at least an eye-watering $250m of his deal – the largest guaranteed money ever given to an NFL player.

Allen was drafted No 7 overall by the Bills in 2018 and has played his entire career in Buffalo. By the end of his new contract in 2030, he will be 34 years old.

The shock news comes just months after he got engaged to his pop superstar girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld, and weeks after he secured his first ever NFL MVP title.

Allen still had four years left on his previous contract, but has now been rewarded with a bumper deal after the best season of his career so far.

Prior to Allen’s $250m guaranteed, the NFL record was held by Deshaun Watson, the disgraced Cleveland Browns QB who signed a deal with a guaranteed $230m included.

In the 2024 season, Allen recorded 4,269 total yards, 41 touchdowns and the fewest turnovers of his career, also becoming the first player in NFL history with five straight seasons of 40+ total touchdowns.

The Bills finished one game away from the Super Bowl once again, losing to the Chiefs after winning a fifth straight AFC East division title.

Last season was also the year Allen’s private life hit headlines, after he started dating Steinfeld in May 2023.

The pair went Instagram official in July 2024 and announced their engagement four months later in November.

They then made their red carpet debut at the 2025 NFL Honors award, where Allen won the MVP title after his incredible season.

In his speech, he said of Steinfeld: ‘You’ve been my rock. You are my best friend [and] I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you.

‘So, with that being said, be good, do good, God bless and Go Bills.’
