It’s been more than a year since Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen reportedly started dating Hollywood actor Hailee Steinfeld. The couple managed to keep their relationship behind the curtains for a long time. However, the two have started to open up about it on social media.

Hailee Steinfeld often mentions her romance with Josh Allen in her Beau Society newsletter. In the latest edition of the newsletter, Steinfeld recalled her first Christmas with the quarterback and how the two accidentally gifted the same present to each other.

Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld gifted each other similar knives in different colors. According to the quarterback, if the person receiving the knife as a gift doesn’t pay for it, it’s considered a bad omen. Recalling how Allen helped them get rid of this ‘bad omen’, Steinfeld wrote:

“I got this knife for Josh last year for Christmas because cooking is something we love to do together. For Christmas he got me…the same one in a different colorway! After we exchanged our knives lol, he told me there’s an old wive’s tale that if you gift your significant other a knife you have to pay for it, otherwise it signifies the severing of a relationship.”

The 27-year-old actor revealed that they symbolically paid for the knives by exchanging quarters and wrote:

“So we exchanged quarters so we didn’t have that bad omen. Anyway, oh my God, I love this knife! I don’t know much about a chef’s knife but it is just so nice and makes me feel official.”

Hailee Steinfeld shares details of her romance with Josh Allen in her Beau Society newsletter. In last week’s edition, the Bumblebee actor revealed sneaking into the Buffalo Bills’ season-opener game to cheer for the quarterback, without anyone noticing.

Back in September, the Buffalo Bills won the season-opener game against the Arizona Cardinals by 34-28 and Josh Allen’s girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld visited the Highmark Stadium to cheer for him. The actor kept a low profile, avoiding any possible media attention, and secretly cheered for the quarterback.

In last week’s edition of the Beau Society newsletter, Steinfeld opened up about her visit to the Highmark Stadium and wrote:

“Hi. The rumors are true. Football season is back which means a few things. A) I get to watch my favorite person continue to make NFL history every week. B) We’re just a few weeks away from drastic temperature drops where you’ll find me drinking hot chocolate bundled in vintage Bills gear.”

Not only did she make it to the stadium without getting noticed but also managed to get the front-row seats. Moving forward in the newsletter, Steinfeld recalled cheering for Allen from the sidelines without getting spotted by cameras. Sharing details, she said:

“I spent most of the time game thinking about 1) how lucky I am to get a front-row seat to the magic that is JA17, the entire Bills team and the stadium energy. 2) The people who make up Bills Mafia are second to none.”

Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld kept their relationship under wraps until the quarterback made it Instagram official earlier this year in July.

Following their trip to Paris, Allen shared a photo of themselves staring at the Eiffel Tower. The other photos in the post showed Hailee attending a get-together with Allen’s loved ones and walking around Paris’s Galerie Véro-Dodat.
