Lamar Jackson got off to a rough start against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night.
The Baltimore Ravens quarterback has often been criticized for not being able to get it done in the postseason, and he didn’t give much reason for pause during the first half of the Divisional Round contest.
Jackson turned the ball over multiple times during the half, and the Ravens were trailing 21-10 at one point.
The QB’s performance prompted the nickname “Playoff Lamar” to trend on X, and not in a good way.
While Jimmy Butler’s “Playoff Jimmy” nickname is a compliment due to his ability to turn it on in the postseason, Jackson’s nickname implies the opposite.
“Playoff Lamar year in year out,” said a third.
“Playoff Lamar Jackson has returned,” a fan claimed.
“Playoff Lamar is here,” said another.
Still, the Ravens had gotten themselves back into the game heading into the fourth quarter, though they failed in an attempt to tie the game with a two-point conversion.
